01 / SEE HOW IT WORKS
Connected is not the same as braced.
Use the visible members and bracing to give the concept a physical reference, then connect the demonstration to your own drawings and examples.

One frame. More ways to explain.

Help your team see how the framing works.
Use a visible frame to teach builder-school classes, new hires and field crews. Point to the members and bracing in front of you as you explain each concept, from load path to erection sequence and temporary bracing.

Packaging and shipping
When does the model ship?
Ships in 2–3 business days; usually arrives in 1–2 weeks. That’s the same with or without a logo. If you have a training or event date, contact Pyrite before ordering.
What arrives, and what do I need for assembly?
The model arrives completely disassembled: the base, primary and secondary framing, purlins and bracing, plus a few spare bracing connectors and a packing slip. It all snaps together by hand, like building blocks, so you don’t need tools, glue or any other supplies. A complete assembly video is being prepared.
How is the model packed?
The disassembled model ships in a 12 × 12 × 8-inch box. Each type of part, such as purlins, girders and rafters, is wrapped separately in corrugated brown paper so the parts are easy to sort for assembly.
What if a part arrives damaged or is missing?
For Training Model orders delivered within the United States or Canada, Pyrite replaces parts that arrive damaged or are missing, with no charge for the replacement parts or their shipping. Contact Justice by email or at (385) 347-0833 for help. Replacement parts are not shipped to other countries.
Custom orders and other questions
Does the Training Model ship internationally?
Yes. The Training Model ships free to the United States, Canada and 22 other countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Türkiye and the United Kingdom. Contact Pyrite to confirm your destination and any import questions before ordering. Outside the United States and Canada, we sell to business customers only.
Can the model be made bigger?
The PEMB Training Model comes in one size: 31 in long × 23 in wide × 12.5 in tall (78.7 × 58.4 × 31.8 cm). Other sizes are not available. If you have something specific in mind, email Justice.
Can you make a model of one of our buildings, for example from an IFC file?
No. Every PEMB Training Model is the same standard frame. Pyrite does not make replicas of specific buildings, from IFC files or otherwise. If you have something specific in mind, email Justice.
Can the model carry my company logo?
Yes. Choose “Add your branding” when you order and upload your logo file before checkout. Your logo goes on the model’s base. A new or different logo has a one-time $75 setup. DXF or SVG files are preferred; PNG, JPG and PDF also work.
Do I pay the logo setup again on a second order?
No, not for the same logo. On a later order, sign in with the email from your first logo order, upload the same file and choose “The same logo as my earlier order”. There is no setup fee. A different logo, such as another company’s branding, is a new logo with its own one-time $75 setup. One logo per checkout. To use a different logo, place a separate order.
New customers don’t need to sign in. If the $75 setup applies, you’ll see it in your total before you pay.
Can my company pay from an invoice?
Contact Pyrite for a Shopify draft-order invoice. Include the product, quantity and destination, plus a training or event date if relevant. Purchase orders are not accepted.
