Before you begin
The model snaps together by hand; no tools or supplies are required.
01Build the base and add the pin connections0:00
- Slide the matching male and female edges of the base tiles together. Assemble the rows, join the complete base, then turn it over.
- Match the labeled pin connections to the base grid lines: 2/3 at lines 2 and 3, 1/4 at lines 1 and 4, and the smaller D-labeled pieces at line D.
02Assemble the primary and endwall frames1:56
- Pair the frame members using their matching alphanumeric labels. The video demonstrates 2D with 2D, then the 2A and 3A locations.
- Fit the portal frame’s slotted connection into the matching notch shown in the video.
- Match the endwall column labels to their base locations. Use the close-up to see how the recessed side sits flush, then join the rafters and repeat at the other end.
03Add the endwall, roof and wall bracing4:38
- Remove the portal frame before installing the bracing. Match the bracing to the slots at the post-and-beam endwalls.
- Match each brace to its mating recess and seat it flush. Longer bracing pieces go in the roof; shorter pieces go in the walls.
04Fit the flush girts and eave struts6:54
- At the back side, align the flush-girt connection holes with their matching fittings and press them into position as shown.
- Use the close-up to identify the eave-strut profile, then fit the pieces along the eaves.
05Join the remaining secondary members8:48
- Join the male and female ends of the endwall members shown in yellow in the video, then repeat for the matching pieces.
- Match the different male and female connector ends for the remaining secondary members and front sidewall girts, following the demonstrated order.
06Fit the roof and wall secondary members10:07
- Align the two holes with the two fittings and press the members into place as shown.
- Follow the demonstration through the brown roof members, front sidewall girts and endwall girts.
07Finish with the portal frame11:30
- The video finishes by returning the portal frame to its base location alongside the X bracing and showing the assembled model.
Use the video close-ups for the small slots, recesses and connection orientation.
Keep the essentials close.
No tools or supplies required.
